I'm guessing once the rifle is loaded it won't be an issue, however it is annoying that I cannot properly cycle the gun dry to practice. When pulling the bolt all the way to the rear the magazine ramp comes up and then blocks the bolt from closing. Paid nothing, trade in was worth far more than what the shop was asking, so I figured I had nothing to lose. So, after fondling it for a while, walking around the shop and coming back to it I decided to take it home. It has the Mauser action, which is what I was most attracted to. The stock looks similar to the lightweight Model 70's(It is also extremely light, almost as light as my. Typically I find it a blasphemous act, but this one is really quite pleasing. Whoever sporterized it did a very nice job. Today I went to pick up a gun, and trade one in I had and found a really nice, sporterized, Argentine 1909, in 30-06. I've always wanted a Mauser type rifle, looked high and low for a German model, but never could find one for a reasonable deal. I'm hoping to get some info on a rifle I got today. I'm sorta new here, my first time posting beyond the classifieds, so I apologize if I ramble.
